Support Eastern KY Flood Relief

Wendell and Tanya's gift to Our Home Place Meat

Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief

In the past, The Berry Center and Our Home Place Meat have provided meat to thousands of displaced families in the wake of natural disasters. Of all the work they do, Wendell and Tanya Berry consider this among the most important. Because of this commitment they have agreed to match gifts up to $10,000 to send food to the families being affected by the flooding in Eastern Kentucky.

This storm has taken the lives of 14 Kentuckians, and emergency responders have performed well over 1,000 rescues. It is unknown how many homes have been lost or damaged.

This at a time when our neighbors to the east have not yet recovered from the devastation of the floods of 2022. In Pike County alone it is being reported that at least ten bridges have been washed away.

They are sending meat to individuals with access to a kitchen as well as restaurants and organizations who are providing hot meals to members of their community.

Will you donate today to help them reach their match? Your gift will go directly toward the cost of beef, allowing them to provide food to people in need while continuing to support our farmers.
