White Oak Initiative Fly-In to Washington, DC

White Oak Initiative (WOI) is working with Congress to enact policies that will help us grow more white oak, but Congress needs to hear from you to know that there is broad support.  The more people we have, the more influence we have and the broader the geographic diversity of our attendees, the better.  Senators and Members of Congress want to know what's important to their constituents-- the more they know white oak is important, the more they will support white oak policy in Congress.
 
If you are interested, please reach out to us--we would love to have you!  If you are interested but have questions or concerns-- please reach out to us!  We can answer them.  Even if you work for a non-profit, you are allowed to go to Capitol Hill and educate your elected official.  We will handle the rest including setting up all meetings, attending meetings with you and having a training on how to talk to elected officials.

Where: Washington, DC (we will reserve a block of rooms at a hotel ...reservations required by Aug 11)
