APPALACHIAN REGIONAL REFORESTATION INITIATIVE VOLUNTEER PLANTING EVENTS
The ARRI (Appalachian Regional Reforestation Initiative) program restores native forests & establishes wildlife habitat on old mine sites throughout the Appalachian region.
Each site is ripped to reduce soil compaction & hand planted w/native bare root seedlings & the seedling survival rates are at least 80% & greater on some tracts.
We host volunteer planting events on mine sites every Spring throughout Appalachia & you/your staff/partners are always welcome to attend an event that best fits your busy schedule.
Don’t hesitate to contact me if I can ever assist you/your staff/partners w/mineland reforestation info regarding the successful actions we’re taking to improve water/soil/air quality on old mine sites & provide jobs for unemployed miners & Veterans.
The ARRI program is an excellent carbon offset opportunity for your organization/family/partners to consider.
